The deadline to RSVP is 30 days prior to our wedding weekend , so that would be September 18, 2024. RSVPs will be accepted through this website. Late RSVPs will not be accepted.
WHAT SHOULD I DO IF I CAN'T MAKE IT?
If you can't make one or both of the ceremonies please let us know as soon as possible. Please RSVP "no" to which ceremony so we can plan accordingly.
CAN I BRING A +1?
If you were given a plus one {Your Name} + {Guest} will be listed on your formal wedding invitation. Extra guest cannot be added unless discussed beforehand.
ARE CHILDREN INVITED?
We request that there be no children at the wedding. Please do not bring children if it has not been discussed previously. We appreciate you making prior arrangements.
WHAT TIME SHOULD I ARRIVE FOR THE CEREMONY?
The Ghanaian Traditional Engagement starts at 4:00pm on 10/18/24 and the Wedding Ceremony starts at 4:00 pm on 10/20/24. Please plan to arrive 30-45 mins before each ceremony.
IS THERE A DRESS CODE?
Ghanaian Traditional Ceremony- All white attire.
American Wedding- Cocktail or Semi-Formal attire. No white or ivory this day!
CAN I TAKE PICTURES/VIDEOS DURING THE CEREMONY?
Our ceremony is an unplugged event (no phones or cameras). We have hired professionals to capture this moment for us. After the ceremony, take as many photos and videos as you would like!
WILL THE CEREMONY & RECEPTION TAKE PLACE INDOORS OR OUTDOORS?
Ghanaian Traditional Engagement- Ceremony will take place indoors. Wedding Ceremony- Ceremony will take place outdoors (weather permitting) and reception will take place indoors
WILL THERE BE AN OPEN BAR?
For the American ceremony, Yes! There will be a fully stocked bar with liquor, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages on us. Please drink responsibly and plan transportation accordingly.
