Dominique and I have know each other since middle school but truly became best friends our junior year of high school. Since then Dominique and I have continued to be best friends and she's always there to provide love and support. Over 15 years of friendship later, she now stands as my maid of honor.

Princess and I met in 2015 during our freshman year of college at George Mason University. We quickly became friends while living on J1 and were constantly laughing about any and everything. Since then Princess has grown to be one of my best friends.

Eisha and I met in 2019 once I moved to Newport News, VA. We met through her fiancé, who is one of my coworkers. Over the past 3 years she has become a close friend and someone I can truly depend on.

Dasia is my youngest sister, we are 5 years apart. Dasia is the most outgoing out of the 3 of us and she is very ambitious. As we have gotten older, she has been supportive and willing to lend a helping hand.

Jasmine is my younger sister, we are only 15 months apart. Jasmine is the funny sibling and knows how to make people laugh, sometimes without even trying.

Tajah and I became friends once Tajah joined the track team our junior year of high school and we ran on the 4x1 team together. Since high school Tajah has always been a supportive and dependable friend. Tajah always knows how to make everyone laugh and is the life of the party!

Ariana is one of my very first friends. We were in the same first grade class and became friends when I shared my pumpkin smiles with her during snack time. She is my adventurous friend who loves to travel and try new things.

Joycelyn is Russell's younger sister. Joycelyn is such a kindhearted person and will do anything for those that she loves. Looking forward to being able to officially call her my sister soon!

Mali and I met my freshman year at Bridgewater College. A quiet and observant guy on the surface, but do not let appearances fool you as he knows how to liven up any area he is in and has a plan for everything! After finding out his birthday was a day before mine that pretty much cemented our friendship and he has truly become a brother to me (people even think we look alike).

Dom and I met my freshman year at Bridgewater. Dom is the type of friend to alway strive to be better, and push the limits of what you can achieve. His energy and vibe is infectious, as we have had many the adventure together. The dedication and importance he places on community was a staple in our college years, and we always made it a point to meet up to keep the bond strong.

Dylan and I met my freshman year at Bridgewater. Looking back at that moment, I had no idea what kind of craziness I was accepting into my life. Dylan is the most unique, and esoteric person who I have come to call a trusted friend. From annoying him after his classes, to debating with him if the earth was a pyramid (crazy to say I lost that debate), I cannot imagine going through college and adult life without him.

Horatio and I met freshman year but we really started getting close our senior year as he was our 4th roommate with Mali and Dylan. Horatio is an open, patient and calm friend who lets nothing and no one stress him. He always knew how to make you laugh and brought joy wherever he went and some of my most treasured memories include our antics with him; from midnight Fortnite sessions, to late night runs to the KCC (main dining hall).

Karan and I met freshman year in our intro to Computer Science class at Bridgewater college. Karan is truly one of those friends with a “Mamba mentality”, modeled after his favorite athlete Kobe Bryant. Karan has always been the friend to push you to achieve more and be your best self and is one of the primary reasons I stuck with Comp Sci. A genuine and authentic guy, we made a lot of fond memories and stayed friends even when he transferred to JMU.

Derek was my roommate freshman year at Bridgewater College. Initially Derek and I butted heads at times because that man had no filter, however he is endearing and caring has proven to be one of my closest friends. He is the type of friend to always make sure family and close friends are good and has an adventurous spirit, which lead to some pretty good stories spending time with this great guy.

I met Wisdom through Zhaneé when she moved to Newport News, VA. With him being Nigerian and me being Ghanaian, we quickly became friends as we shared common interests like; watching Chelsea FC, Afrobeats, and working out. Fast forward several game nights, a trip to Jamaica together, and helping me move to Suffolk, Wisdom has proven to be dependable and reliable friend.
